Through this infographic, I decided to tackle the taboo subject of going to the bathroom in the woods. As someone who has led hiking trips with participants it is an awkward subject to approach, but nonetheless very important. This infographic can act as a resource for future trip leaders and participants that need to address this concern. To keep the mood light hearted, I chose a bold and funky font. It’s texture is suggestive of tree bark and ‘roughing it.’ A dotted line cues to viewer how to navigate through the steps while being indicative of a hiking trail. Custom icons were created to illustrate the steps without being too detailed on the process.
